Jimmy Mason really looks up to Matt Kelly, a bootlegger whose girlfriend is Peggy .  He ends up in jail after not ratting out Matt and finds a new friend who is constantly being tortured.  Jimmy flees the prison, while Matt and Peggy help him report what is going on inside the jail.
