Margaret Holt assists her brother, D.A. Victor Holt, to help catch a drug dealer by the name of Marko.  Later she ends up killing Marko when he finds out she is involved in turning him in and to save her own life she commits murder.  She tries to find safety in a home for disadvantaged women and in the meantime her brother, Victor, has been taken by Marko's gang.  Columnist John Howell and a writer by the name of Winthrop Clavering try to save Margaret and rescue her brother.
