A couple, Tommy Flynn and Gracie Nolan, are gaining popularity for winning a number of dance contests.  They soon take a break from dancing together when Gracie is lead to believe there is another man, Ted Smith, who is wanting to pursue her as a love interest.
 
When Ted's plane crashes later in the film, Gracie feels a great loss, but find out he has survived the crash.  She soon finds out that Ted is not actually interested in pursuing a relationship with her.

In the end she realizes how strong Tommy's feelings are for her and she forgets about Ted and marries Tommy.
