Joe Cobb is a young rich boy who feels lonely since his parents are busy all the time and he has no siblings. He dreams of having a baby brother, so the family nursemaid takes him to visit the Our Gang kids who are around his age. Allen 'Farina' Hoskins paints a black child white and brings it to Joe, knowing he wants a baby brother. Problems arise when the mother of the child comes looking for him.
