Tom Brown begins his career at Harvard with a bang, earning the enmity of fellow football player and rowing teammate, Bob McAndrew. The two become even more bitter in their rivalry as they also compete for the affections of Mary Abbott.
This is the most popular of three versions of this popular play, with others being produced in 1911 and 1918.
Brown of Harvard featured John Wayne's first on screen role as an uncredited Yale football player.
