This film has the kids trying to find a place to play since the only option is on the street which is dangerous with all the traffic around. Mickey decides to build barricades in order for the kids to have a spot to play at an intersection. Unfortunately the ruthless cop McManus stops that from happening. A friendly detective feels for the kids since he has kids of his own and tells them they should assist in helping the police.
