This Charlie Chaplin film centers on a baby being left with a note in a limousine by his mother Edna who goes off to commit suicide. The baby is left by a garbage can after thieves’ steal the limo. Charlie the Tramp makes a home for the baby after finding him. Edna is still around five years later doing charity work for poor kids, hoping to find her child, but is also an opera star. A doctor realizes where the kid is and before Charlie knows it, the kid is being taken away from him. Charlie steals the kid back, but at the end he is reunited peacefully with the kid and Edna in her mansion.
