When a country hotel advertises for someone to help them modernize, Harold arrives from the city to take the job. He soon has the hotel reasorganized and reasdecorated, and he installs numerous mechanical gadgets in the rooms. Things are going smoothly until a society belle arrives, followed by a desperate suitor whom she has discarded.
