The film starts out with Alice falling asleep in a garden and wakes up to an agitated white rabbit all dressed up with a pocket watch. She becomes curious and follows the rabbit down a burrow where she is surrounded by several doors. There she finds a key that opens a small door to a dog waiting in the garden. Alice’s size is another complication in this film. She encounters many different characters that advise her.
