Believed to be the second film ever made, the first being  Roundhay Garden Scene .  Leeds Bridge still exists and has a plaque commemorating the event. The site of the building where the director Le Prince worked is now home to the BBC.  Filmed on paper filmstrips, this is Louis Aime Augustin Le Prince's second known film, produced in October 1888. Only photographic copies of it survive today.
