I was maybe 10 or 12 years old and remember seeing Rebel W/O A Cause on Million Dollar Movie (ch9 in NY) which ran one movie for a week at a time. It was love at first sight! I had no idea at the time that he was dead. My fav JD movie is East of Eden.
