PAT CONWAY BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Pat Conway was born on January 9th, 1931 in Los Angeles, California with the birth name Patrick Douglas Conway.  His father was director, Jack Conway and his mothers name was Virginia.  He was raised on a ranch and grew up to become a well known actor most remembered for his role on the ABC syndicated western television series, "Tombstone Territory" (1957-1960) portraying sheriff Clay Hollister.
 
Conway appeared in a total of ninety three episodes and also made guest star appearances in a number of other western television shows such as, "The Texan" (1958), "Laramie" (1961), "Empire" (1963), "Rawhide" (1965), "Branded" 91965), "The Iron Horse" (1966), "Bonanza" (1965), "Gunsmoke" (1955) and also made two western film appearances in, "Geronimo" (1962) and "Brighty of the Grand Canyon" (1967). 
 
Throughout his career he made a number of other films such as, "The Deadly Mantis" (1957) and "Undersea Girl" (1957).  He had an amazingly successful television career making appearances on numerous series such as on CBS's, "You Are There" (1955-1956), "Highway Patrol" (1955), "The West Point Story" (1957), "State Trooper" (1957) and also had the title role on CBS's, "The Millionaire Fantasy Drama" (1959). 
 
Pat Conway's final movie role was portraying Sheriff Townsend in a television movie called, "The Abduction of Saint Anne" (1975) he then retired from acting and passed away at the age of fifty in Santa Barbara, California on April 24th, 1981.
