NOREEN CORCORAN BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Noreen Corcoran was born on October 20th, 1943 in Quincy, Massachusetts born to William Corcoran, Sr. and Kathleen McKenney. She was the third of a total of eight children born into her family. Corcoran and her siblings were raised in Santa Monica, California where her father was employed with MGM Studios.

Now that Corcoran and her siblings were all living in Los Angeles, they began to show an interest in the entertainment industry and took up acting and dancing lessons. Her siblings began to find work in a number of films and Noreen also added film roles early on in her career such as, "Apache Drums" (1951), "Wait Till the Sun Shines, Nellie" (1952), "The Story of Three Loves" (1953) and "So This Is Love" (1953).

After Noreen completed high school she then went on to study Speech and drama for two years at California State college, although she never earned a degree. She continued to pursue a career as an actress adding not only film credits but television roles as well on such series as, "Circus Boy", "The World of Mr. Sweeney" and "Bachelor Father" starring John Forsythe which aired from 1957 through 1962.

She had now finally began to make a name for herself in the industry and her fan base was increasing as she blossomed from a child actress into a beautiful woman. She graced the cover of numerous magazines and continued to keep the attention of Hollywood.

Other film roles soon followed such as, "Gidget Goes to Rome" (1963) and "The Girls on the Beach" (1965). Her latest roles added to her resume prior to retiring from Hollywood were appearances on the television series, "Channing" (1963), "The Eleventh Hour" (1964), "Ben Casey" (1964), "Gunsmoke" (1964), "Mr. Novak" (1964) and "The Big Valley" (1965).

Noreen Corcoran then chose to leave the limelight and focus on a career in theater arts and dance. She worked for eleven years with the Lewitzky Dance company and is now living in retirement in the San Fernando Valley.
