NITA TALBOT BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Nita Talbot was born on August 8th, 1930 in New York City, New York with the birth name Anita Sokol. She is most well remembered for her role as Marya in the television sitcom, "Hogan's Heroes", a role for which she earned an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
 
Her career in entertainment began working as a model in the film, "It's a Great Feeling" (1949) starring Doris Day, Jack Carson and Dennis Morgan. Soon she was adding other film credits to her resume such as, "Bright Leaf" (1950) starring alongside Gary Cooper, Patricia Neal, Lauren Bacall, Donald Crisp, Cleo Moore and Jack Carson, "This Could Be The Night" (1957) starring Jean Simmons and Paul Douglas, Zasu Pitts, Joan Blondell, J. Carrol Naish and Anthony Franciosa in his film debut, "Who's Got the Action?" (1962) starring Dean Martin, Lana Turner, Eddie Albert, Jack Albertson and Walter Matthau, "Girl Happy" (1965) starring Elvis Presley, Shelley Fabares, Mary Ann Mobley, Jimmy Hawkins, Jackie Coogan, Harold J. Stone and Gary Crosby, "A Very Special Favor" (1965) starring Rock Hudson, Leslie Caron, Walter Slezak and Charles Boyer and "Buck and the Preacher" (1972) starring Sidney Poitier as Buck and Harry Belafonte as the Preacher and featuring Ruby Dee, Clarence Muse and Cameron Mitchell.
 
As her career progressed more substantial film roles began to come her way such as, "The Day of the Locust" (1975) co-starring William Atherton, Karen Black, Donald Sutherland, Bo Hopkins, Burgess Meredith, Billy Barty and Geraldine Page, "Serial" (1980) starring Martin Mull, Tuesday Weld, Christopher Lee and Sally Kellerman, "Chained Heat" (1983) starring Linda Blair, Sybil Danning, John Vernon, Stella Stevens, Michael Callan and Henry Silva, "Fraternity Vacation" (1985) starring Stephen Geoffreys, Tim Robbins, Cameron Dye, Leigh McCloskey, Sheree J. Wilson and John Vernon and "Puppet Master II" (1991).
 
Along with an already successful film career she also added a variety of television credits to her resume appearing on such series as, "The Jim Backus Show", "Producers' Showcase", "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", "Tales of Tomorrow", "Inner Sanctum", "The Lineup", "Climax!", "Man Against Crime", "The Lawless Years", "Perry Mason", 'The Untouchables", "Suspense", "Peter Gunn", "Maverick", "The Tab Hunter Show", "Charles in Charge", "Columbo", "The Rockford Files" and "The Partridge Family" amongst many others.

Nita Talbot has married twice. Her first husband was Don Gordon in 1954 however by 1958, this marriage came to an end. She then married Thomas A. Geas in 1961 and they had one child together before this marriage also ended in divorce.

More recently, she did the voice over work on the 1997, "Spider-Man" series and also appeared on the television series, "Madman of the People" (1995), "Pig Sty" (1995) and "Dream On" (1996). She is now retired from the industry.
