MARA CORDAY BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Mara Corday was born on January 3rd, 1930 in Santa Monica, California with the birth name Marilyn Joan Watts. Her career in entertainment began working as a back up chorus dancer in, "Earl Carroll's Revue" followed by a number of modeling jobs.

Corday was then cast in such films as, "Two Tickets to Broadway" (1951) followed by being signed as a contract player with Universal Studios. Soon she was appearing in such films as, "Playgirl" (1954), "Tarantula" (1955), "Man Without a Star" (1955) starring Kirk Douglas, "A Day of Fury" (1956), "The Black Scorpion" (1957) and "Girls on the Lose" (1958).

Along with her career as an actress she was also seen in a variety of men's magazines as a pinup girl and also worked on the television series, "Combat Sergeant" and "The Adventures of Kit Carson".

Mara married only once to actor, Richard Long in 1957 and just one year after being married, Corday posed as Playboy Playmate of the Month for October 1958. She worked for a couple more years and then decided to take a break from acting and on her marriage and raising her three children. This marriage came to an end in 1974 when her husband passed away.

In 1977, Corday returned back to acting and some of her latest film roles were in, "The Gauntlet" (1977), "Sudden Impact" (1983), "Pink Cadillac" (1989) starring Clint Eastwood Bernadette Peters and "The Rookie" (1990).
