M. EMMET WALSH BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
M. Emmet Walsh was born on March 22nd, 1935 in Ogdensburg, New York with the birth name Michael Emmet Walsh, born to Agnes Katharine and Harry Maurice Walsh, Sr. He graduated from Tilton School and then went on to earn his college degree from Clarkson University School of Business.
His career in the industry began in the late 1960's appearing on the television series, "N.Y.P.D." and un-credited film roles in, "Midnight Cowboy" (1969) starring Dustin Hoffman, Jon Voight, Sylvia Miles, John McGiver, Brenda Vaccaro, Bob Balaban, Jennifer Salt and Barnard Hughes and "Stiletto" (1969) starring Alex Cord, Britt Ekland, Barbara McNair, Roy Scheider, Joseph Wiseman, John Dehner, Raul Julia, Eduardo Ciannelli and Patrick O'Neal.
As his career progressed he began adding more substantial roles to his resume appearing in such films as, "What's Up Doc?"
