LYNDA DAY GEORGE BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Lynda Day George was born on December 11th, 1944 in San Marcos, Texas with the birth name Lynda Louise Day.  She first became involved in acting when she made a number of small guest appearances on such shows as, "Route 66", "The Green Hornet", "The Fugitive" and "Bonanza".

In 1971 she landed her first break out role in the television series "The Silent Force" followed by another big role as the character, Lisa Casey in, "Mission: Impossible" (1971) for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe in 1972 followed by an Emmy nomination in 1973.

As her career progressed she was seen on such shows as, "The Love Boat", "Charlie's Angels", "The Rat Patrol", "Barnaby Jones" and "Fantasy Island".  A lot of her acting was done with her husband, Christopher George whom she met when she worked on the film, "The Gentle Rain" (1966) and then the series, "The Rat Patrol".  Three years later when they appeared in the film, "Chisum" (1970) starring John Wayne, together, the two fell in love and were married on March 17th, 1970.  They had one child together and remained happily married appearing in such films together as, "House on Greenapple Road" (1970), "Mayday at 40,000 Feet" (1976), "Cruise Into Terror" (1978) and "Mortuary" (1983).

However, on November 28th, 1983, Christopher passed away at the age of fifty four from a sudden heart attack.  Lynda had a very difficult time dealing with the loss of her husband, however she tried to move on as an actress and continued to work.

Some of her later in life appearances were on, "Blacke's Magic" and the revived "Mission: Impossible" episode.  She then decided to retire from the industry in the late 1980's and re-married in 1990 to Doug Cronin and they lived in Los Angeles, until he passed away on December 4th, 2010.  She has two children, one from her marriage to Christopher and one from her first marriage to Joseph Pantano whom she was married to from 1963 through 1970.
