LANG JEFFRIES BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Lang Jeffries was born on June 7th, 1930 in Ontario Canada with the birth name Bill Lappin. He later relocated to the United States and lived in Michigan. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and after completing his military career, Jeffries began to pursue a career in entertainment.
He is most well known for his role portraying, Skip Johnson and co-starring with Jim Davis in the television series, "Rescue 8" (1958-1960), which he starred in a total of seventy three episodes. Soon other roles followed on such series as, "Ripcord" and "Overland Trail".
Along with now working as a television actor, the remainder of his career was mostly focused on film roles such as, "Sword of the Empire" (1964), "The Killer Lacks a Name" (1965), "The Hotheads" (1967), "The Last Roman" (1968), "Summer Love" (1970), "Mean Mother" (1974), "The Junkman" (1982) and his final film role was in 1983 in, "Deadline Auto Theft".
Along with his career as an actor, in the mid 1970's he also managed an art gallery in Huntington Beach California along with his second wife, Mary. Prior to this marriage he was briefly married to actress Rhonda Fleming.
He had only one son, Kent Lappin and on February 12th, 1987, at the age of fifty six, he passed away in Huntington Beach, California.
