KEVIN DOBSON BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Kevin Dobson was born on March 18th, 1943 in New York City, New York with the middle name Patrick, born one of seven children and was raised in Queens, New York.

Before deciding to work as an actor he supported himself working as a train conductor and brakeman and then began to turn his goals towards acting. He found work as a stage actor and began his film career in "Klute" (1971) starring Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland and at one time was an understudy for Jon Voight in, "A Streetcar named Desire" (1973).

He then began working as a television actor with small roles in such series as, "The Mod Squad", "Emergency!" and "Cannon". He first became well known for his role for ten years on the series, "Knots Landing" (1979) portraying the district attorney as well as his role as Detective Bobby Crocker on the series, "Kojak" (1973) starring Telly Savalas.

At one point in his early career he was a semi-pro baseball player and also served in the United States Army as an MP during Vietnam. Other roles he has added to his credits include, "FIX: The Series", "The Bold and the Beautiful", "One Life to Live", "Police Story", "Shannon", "Touched by an Angel" and "Cold Case".

Kevin Dobson has married only once to Susan Dobson whom he wed in 1968 and they have three children and remain married today. Most recently he has added such credits to his resume as, "Days of Our Lives", "Catch 21", "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Hawaii Five-O".
