KEVIN CORCORAN BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Kevin Corcoran was born on June 10th, 1949 in Santa Monica, California with the middle name Anthony, born to William Corcoran and Kathleen McKenney. He has seven siblings, all of whom were involved in acting as children and he is most known for appearing in a number of Disney projects.
His career began as a child actor appearing on the serials, "Mickey Mouse Clubs" followed by roles on the Walt Disney "Spin and Marty Serials". He has now also worked in the industry as a director and producer. He is most well remembered for playing the character, Moochie. Other film roles he added to his resume early on in his career were in, "Old Yeller" (1957), "The Shaggy Dog" (1959), "Ten Weeks With a Circus" (1960), "Swiss Family Robinson" (1960), "Babes in Toyland" (1961), "Bon Voyage!" (1962), "Savage Sam" (1963) and "A Tiger Walks" (1964).
For the most part after filming, "Blue" (1968) he retired from acting and earned a college degree in theatre arts from California State University in Northridge. He returned to working in the industry but this time on the other side as a director adding such credits to his resume as, "The Island at the Top of the World" (1974), "The Treasure of Matecumbe" (1976), "Return from Witch Mountain" (1978) and "The North Avenue Irregulars" (1979).
He has also been an assistant director on a variety of television series such as, "Scarecrow and Mrs. King" and "Karen Sisco".
Kevin Corcoran has married only once to Laura Soltwedel in 1972 and they remain together today. In 2008 he worked as the production manager on two television series, "The Sons of Anarchy" and "The Shield".
