JOHN GOODMAN BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
John Goodman was born on June 20th, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri with the birth name John Stephen Goodman, born to Leslie and Virginia Goodman. He is most well known for his role portraying, San Conner on the television series, "Roseanne" (1988-1997), a role for which he won a Best Actor Golden Globe award in 1993.
His career as an actor began after he graduated from Affton High School and then he earned a drama degree from Southwest Missouri State. Goodman then began his pursuit of a career as an actor beginning with appearing in a commercial for, Burger King. He worked as a waiter and bouncer while trying to break into the entertainment industry.
Soon he was also finding work as a stage actor adding such Broadway credits as, "Loose Ends" (1978) and "Big River" in 1985.
Other well known film credits include, "Eddie Macon's Run" (1982) starring Kirk Douglas, John Schneider, Lee Purcell, Leah Ayres, Tom Noonan and J. C. He has also worked on a number of Disney films doing voiceover work such as, "Monsters, Inc", "Cars", "Futurama", "The Emperor's New Groove" and "The Princess and the Frog".
John Goodman has married only once to Annabeth Hartzog in 1989 and they have one child together and remain married today. He resides in New Orleans, Louisiana. Murray Abraham, Garrett Hedlund and Justin Timberlake and soon to release, "The Internship" (2013) starring Owen Wilson, Rose Byrne, Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrell, Jessica Szohr, Dylan O'Brien and Joanna Garcia, "The Hangover Part III" (2013) starring alongside Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha and voiceover work for, "Monsters University" (2013) starring the voices of Billy Crystal, Steve Buscemi, Jennifer Tilly, Frank Oz and John Ratzenberger.
