JILL IRELAND BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Jill Ireland was born on April 24th, 1936 in London, England with the birth name Jill Dorothy Ireland.  She grew up training dancing which was her first love.  She first began acting in the mid 1950's starting directly as a film actress.
 
Some of her early film roles were, "Laura" (1955), "Three Men in a Boat" (1956), "Big Money" (1958), "So Evil So Young" (1961) and "Villa Rides" (1968). 
 
Along with a film career she also made a number of television appearances throughout her career on such series as, "The Man from U.N.C.L.E" (1957), "Twelve O'Clock High" (1965-1966), "Shane" (1966), "Star Trek" (1967), "Night Gallery" (1972) and her final television appearance was in, "The Girl, the Gold Watch & Everything" (1980).
 
Jill Ireland was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contribution to the Motion Picture Industry.    
 
Ireland married twice throughout her lifetime.  Her first husband was David McCallum whom she wed in 1957 and after having three children the marriage came to an end in 1967.  She then married for a second time to fellow actor Charles Bronson in 1968 and they had one daughter together and remained married until she passed away on May 18th, 1990 in Malibu, California after suffering from breast cancer.
