JENNY MCCARTHY BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Jenny McCarthy was born on November 1st, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois with the middle name Ann, born to Linda and Dan McCarthy. She was raised in Chicago along with her three sisters.

After graduating from Mother McAuley Liberal Arts High School, McCarthy continued her studies at the university of Southern Illinois, originally pursuing studies in nursing as well as psychology.

Prior to earning a college degree, McCarthy had to leave school early due to financial reasons and therefore, her education was put on hold while she searched for employment. An opportunity to model with Playboy magazine came about and she was named 1993 Miss October which later that year lead to her being named Playboy Playmate of the Year.

It was this experience that lead her to go back to school, but instead pursue a career in the entertainment industry. McCarthy decided to relocate to Los Angeles and she was first given the chance to host a show called, "Hot Rocks" which was a Playboy TV show that would feature music video's uncensored. This lead to another host 'gig' on MTV's dating show, "Singled Out".

Soon McCarthy began appearing on a number of television series such as, "Silk Stalkings" (1994), "Mr. Show with Bob and David" (1995) and "Baywatch" (1996). After being cast in the film, "The Stupids" (1996), McCarthy was offered by MTV to have her own comedy show, "The Jenny McCarthy Show" which later lead NBC to offer her a sitcom titled, "Jenny", which was sadly unsuccessful.

However, McCarthy continued to take on a variety of roles and soon was appearing on the big screen in such feature films as, "BASEketball" (1998), "Scream" (2000), "Scary Movie 3" (2003) and in 2005, she not only starred in but also wrote and produced the film, "Dirty Love".

Sadly, this film was not successful and since then, McCarthy has not produced or written another film. This experience again, did not stop McCarthy from continuing to take on new roles.

Over the course of her career she has television appearances on, "Charmed", "The Drew Carey Show", "Two and a Half Men", "Just Shoot Me", "Stacked", "Chuck" and a web series titled, "In the Motherhood".

She has married only once to John Mallory Asher in 1999 and they had one son together, Evan Joseph who was later diagnosed with autism. McCarthy and Asher divorced in 2006. McCarthy dated actor, Jim Carrey for about five years, however the couple split and she is now currently in a relationship with, Brian Urlacher, a Chicago Bears linebacker.

Jenny McCarthy has recently started working as a host again for a new reality show, "Love in the Wild" that began airing in 2012. She also dedicated a huge amount of her time to being a advocate for children with Autism. She has been a spokesperson for, Talk About Curing Autism as well as a spokesperson for Generation Rescue foundation. She also participates in fundraisers and other events to help families who suffer from having children diagnosed with autism.

Along with her career as a model and actress, McCarthy has added published author to her resume. She has a book titled, "Louder Than Words: A Mother's Journey in Healing Autism" (2007) and she also co-wrote an autobiography, "Jen-X".
