JENNIFER ESPOSITO BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Jennifer Esposito was born on April 11th, 1973 in New York City, New York, born to Phyllis and Bob Esposito. She was raised in Staten Island, New York and where she received her high school diploma from Moore Catholic High.
Esposito first developed an interest in the industry when she was given the chance to perform as a dancer on, "Club MTV" in 1985. Ten years later she decided to see if she had what it takes to pursue a fulltime career as an actress.
She has since then become well known for a number of film and television roles such as the films, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" (1998) starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Freddie Prinze, Jr., Brandy, Mekhi Phifer, Jeffrey Combs, Bill Cobbs and Matthew Settle, Spike Lee's "Summer of Sam" (1999) starring John Leguizamo, Adrien Brody, Mira Sorvino, Bebe Neuwirth, Anthony LaPaglia, Patti LuPone and Ben Gazzara, "Crash" (2004) starring alongside Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Matt Dillon, Brendan Fraser, Terrence Howard, Ryan Phillippe, Michael Pena, Thandie Newton, Larenze Tate and Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges and the television series, "Spin City", "Samantha Who?" with Christina Applegate, Kevin Dunn, Melissa McCarthy, Jean Smart, Tim Russ and Barry Watson and "Blue Bloods" starring Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan, Will Estes, Len Cariou and Amy Carlson.
Her acting career really took off when she was cast in the television series, "Spin City", playing the character Stacy along with Michael J. Fox, Charlie Sheen and Heather Locklear to name a few. It was quite soon in her career to receive an opportunity such as this and Esposito proved to Hollywood that she is a talented actress.
Since 1999 when her recurring role on, "Spin City" ended she has added numerous other television appearances to her resume such as, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", "Judging Amy", "Related", "Mercy" and another recurring role on, "Rescue Me". She also did the voice for, Tina Russo Duck on the "Looney Tunes Show" from 2011 through 2012.
Other more well known film roles include, "Just One Time" (1999) starring Joelle Carter, Lane Janger and Guillermo Díaz, "The Proposal" (2001), "The Master of Disguise" (2002) starring Dana Carvey, Harold Gould, James Brolin, and Brent Spiner, "Taxi" (2004) starring Queen Latifah, Jimmy Fallon, Henry Simmons, Ann Margret and Gisele Bundchen, "American Crude" (2008) with Raymond J. Barry, Aaron Brumfield and Gino Cabanas, "Killer in the Family" (2011) with Holly Marie Combs and James Denton and soon to release her newest film role, "Bending the Rules" (2012) starring Adam 'Edge' Copeland, Jamie Kennedy, Jessica Walter and Alicia Witt.
Jennifer Esposito has married only once to Bradley Cooper but the marriage only lasted one year from 2006 through 2007. In 2009, she got engaged to Mark Philippoussis, an Australian professional tennis player, however by 2010 it was made public that they had gone their separate ways.
