FRANK FERGUSON BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Frank Ferguson was born on December 25th, 1899 in Ferndale, California and first began his involvement in the entertainment industry by working at the Pasadena Playhouse as an actor and director. After gaining some years of experience there he then began to break into the film industry. His debut role was in 1940 on, "Father Is a Prince” starring Grant Mitchell, Frank Orth, John Litel, George Reeves, Jan Clayton, Lee Patrick and Nana Bryant.
As his career progressed he added such film credits to his resume as, “The Babe Ruth Story” (1948) starring William Bendix, Claire Trevor, Charles Bickford, Pat Flaherty and William Frawley, "State Department: File 649" (1949), starring William Lundigan, Jonathan Hale, Richard Loo, Victor Sen Yung, Philip Ahn, Virginia Bruce and Robert Stevenson, "Bend of the River" (1952) starring James Stewart, Arthur Kennedy, Julie Adams, Rock Hudson, Lori Nelson, Chubby Johnson, Jay C. Over the course of his career in the industry, Ferguson added 300 acting credits to his resume. He then retired in 1972 from the industry and passed away on September 12th, 1978 in Los Angeles, California, after suffering from cancer.
