DIEDRE HALL BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
 
Deidre Hall was born on October 31st, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with the middle name Ann.  She has a twin sister, Andrea and together they both worked as actresses.  When Deidre was twelve years old she was crowned Junior Orange Bowl Queen.  After graduating from Lake Worth High School she went on to attend Palm Beach Junior College and also began working on a number of commercials. 
 
She became most well known for her role in 1965 on the daytime soap opera, "Days of Our Lives" from which she was named, 'Best Television Role Model'.  She also won a total of five Best Actress Awards from soap opera digest in 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985 and 1995. 
 
As her career progressed she was also a guest star on, "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" (1962), "Night of 100 Stars II" (1985), "20/20" (1978).  Other television appearances she has added to her resume over the course of her career have been on such shows as, "Emergency!", "The Young and the Restless", "ElectraWoman and DynaGirl" and "Our House".
 
Some of her more recent roles have been on, "Clout" (2009) which is a radio talk program that airs on Air America Media.  She was also a guest star on, "Drop Dead Diva".  Along with her acting career, Hall also produced a television movie titled, "Never Say Never: The Deidre Hall Story" in 1995 and she also wrote, "Deidre Halls' Kitchen Closeup" and is now working on another book with her partner, Lynne Bowman called, "Deidre Hall's How Does She Do It". 
 
She married four times throughout her lifetime.  Her first marriage was to William Hudson in 1966 and this marriage ended in 1970.  Her second marriage was to Keith Barbour in 1972 and this marriage also came to an end in 1978.  She then married for a third time in 1987 to Michael Dubelko but again two years later she was divorced.  She is currently in the process of filing divorce from her fourth husband. Steve Sohmer who she married in 1991 and they have two children together.
 
Diedre has received a number of honors throughout her career such as being named, "Best Dressed Woman" and "One of America's ten most beautiful woman" by television guide as well as Satellite Orbit.  She is also an ambassador for, Operation Smile and although she has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy a number of times, she has never managed to achieve one.
 
Throughout her career in the industry she has also been honored with receiving the cover for such magazines as People, Woman, Woman's Own, TV Guide, Woman's World, Family Circle, Shape, Los Angeles Magazine, Orange Coast and First For Woman.
