CONNIE SELLECCA BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Connie Sellecca was born on May 25th, 1955 in The Bronx, New York with the birth name Concetta Sellecchia. During high school at Ramapo High she began to develop an interest in dramatic arts. After high school, Connie briefly enrolled at Boston College but then decided not to complete a degree and instead began to pursue a degree in entertainment.
Her career in entertainment began as a lingerie and fashion model. In 1978 she appeared in her first film, “The Bermuda Depths” followed by another role in the film, “Captain America II” (1979). Other early roles in her career were in, “She’s Dressed to Kill” (1979), “Finders of Lost Loves” (1985) and International Airport” (1985).
Later in her career she became most well known for her role in the series, “The Greatest American Hero” (1981-1986) and as Christine Francis in the television series, “Hotel” (1983) starring Anne Baxter and James Brolin.
Connie continues to remain active in the industry with her last film role in 2009 in, “The Wild Stallion”. She was also seen back in 2006 on an infomercial for her, “Sellecca Solution”.
Throughout her lifetime she has married twice, first to Gil Gerard from October 28th, 1979 and after having one child together this marriage ended in 1987. She then married John Tesh in 1992 and they have one child together and remain married today.
