CARMEN ELECTRA BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Carmen Electra was born on April 20th, 1972 in Sharonville, Ohio with the birth name Tara Leigh Patrick, born to Patricia and Harry Patrick who were both in the music business.  She grew up near Cincinnati, Ohio studying dance as a child. After graduating from Princeton High School she went on to study at the School for Creative and performing arts in Cincinnati.
 
She first became involved in entertainment when she was hired as a dancer at Kings Island Amusement Park in Ohio and then in 1991 she decided to relocate to Los Angeles, California.
 
When she moved, she became an acquaintance of Prince and it did not take long for her to be signed to a recording contract with Prince's Paisley Park Records.  It as then that she began a career as a singer and took on the stage name Carmen Electra.
 
By the mid 1990's she was appearing on such television series as, "Erotic Confessions" and "Baywatch Nights".  Then in 1996 she did a nude layout in Playboy magazine which opened the door for her career for even more television roles such as on MTV's game show, "Singled Out".
 
As her career progressed she began being offered roles in such films as, "American Vampire" (1997), "Good Burger" (1997), "The Mating Habits of the Earthbound Human" (1999), "Scary Movie" (2000), "Meet the Spartans" (2008), "Scary Movie 4" (2006), "Epic Movie" (2007), "Date Movie" (2006), "Disaster Movie" (2008), "Starsky & Hutch" (2004) and "Cheaper by the Dozen 2" (2005).
 
Along with adding films and television roles to her resume she continued to increase her popularity by appearing four more times in Playboy magazine and graced the cover three times.  She also was seen in a number of commercials for, Taco Bell and Maxim men's hair color products, and did some voice over work for the animated series, "Tripping the Rift".
 
Electra has also been involved in producing a number of exercise video's and equipment such as, "Aerobic Striptease" and endorses the Electra Pole which is a stripper pole dance kit that became available to the public for purchase in 2008.
 
Carmen Electra was also the spokesperson for Ritz Camera Centers as well as for MAX Factor Make-Up Line.  Electra has also made appearances on other shows such as when she was a guest judge on, "So You Think You can Dance" (2011) and "Perfect Catch" (2009-2010) and "Reno 911" (2009).
 
Along with her acting, modeling and singing career she makes times to be involved with a number of charities such as being the organizer for a fundraiser called, Head to Hollywood which is a non-profit organization that gives support to victims that have suffered from brain tumors.  She is also involved in Elevate Hope which is a charity that helps abused and abandoned children.
 
Carmen Electra has been married twice, first to famous and now Hall of Fame basketball player, Dennis Rodman in 1998 through 1999.  She then married, Dave Navarro in 2003, the lead guitarist for the band, Jane's Addiction and they remained together until 2007.  She has been engaged to Rob Patterson since 2008 but there has yet to be any wedding plans and she still has no children of her own.
 
Her latest appearances have been in the films, "Barry Munday" (2010), "Oy Vey! My Son Is Gay" (2010) and "2 Headed Shark Attack" scheduled to release in 2012.
