BO HOPKINS BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

Bo Hopkins was born on February 2nd, 1942 in Greenville, South Carolina.  After his father passed away when he was only nine years old his mother and grandmother raised him.  At the age of sixteen he lied about his age and joined the United States Army.  Once he completed his service, Hopkins decided he wanted to pursue a career as an actor.
 
He began like many other actors working as a stage actor and joined a summer stock company.  He was also offered a number of very small parts in a variety of television shows.
 
After gaining some experience he felt he was ready for the film industry and began appearing on such films as, "The Wild Bunch" (1969), "The Getaway" (1972), "White Lightning" (1973), "The Killer Elite" (1975), "Midnight Express" (1978), "American Graffiti" (1973), "The Bounty Hunter" (1990) and "U Turn" (1997).
 
Along with film work he added numerous more television credits to his resume with such series as, "Hotel" (1983), "Rockford Files" (1974), "Charlie's Angels" (1976), "Dynasty" (1981), "The A-Team" (1983), "Hawaii Five-O" (1973), "Murder, She Wrote" (1985-1992) and "Bonanza" (1969).
 
Some of his more recent roles have been in the film, "Shade" (2003), "The Road Home" (2003) and "Open Window" (2006).  In all he appeared in more then one hundred film and television roles. 
 
Bo is currently married to his second wife, Sian Eleanor Green whom he wed in 1989 and they have one son, Matthew.  The family resides in Los Angeles, California.  He also has one daughter from his first marriage.
