Beverly Washburn ACTOR


Beverly Washburn was born on November 25th, 1943 in Los Angeles, California.  Her career as an actress began at the age of six appearing in the film, "The Killer That Stalked New York" (1950) starring Evelyn Keyes, Dorothy Malone, William Bishop, Lola Albright and Charles Korvin, followed by a role on the television show, "The Loretta Young Show" and later on as a teenager in, "The New Loretta Young Show" and soon to follow the first two episodes of "The Adventures of Superman" starring George Reeves, Phyllis Coates and Jack Larsen.

She mainly focused on television work with appearances on such series as, "Lux Video Theatre", "Fireside Theatre", "77 Sunset Strip", "Hawaiian Eye" starring Robert Conrad and Connie Stevens, "Wagon Train", "Studio 57", "The 20th Century Fox Hour", "General Electric Theater", "Leave it to Beaver", "The Lone Ranger", "The Law and Mr. Jones" and "Fury" starring Bobby Diamond, William Fawcett and Peter Graves.

Along with television work she has occasionally appeared on the big screen in such features as Frank Capra's, "Here Comes the Groom" (1951) starring Bing Crosby, Franchot Tone, Alexis Smith and Jane Wyman, "The Juggler" (1953), "Shane" (1953) starring Alan Ladd, Van Heflin, Jack Palance, Brandon de Wilde and Jean Arthur, "The Lone Ranger" (1956) starring Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels, the Walt Disney classic "Old Yeller" (1957) starring Dorothy McGuire, Tommy Kirk, Fess Parker, Jeff York and Kevin Corcoran, "Summer Love" (1958) starring John Saxon and Molly Bee, "Pit Stop" (1969) starring Brian Donlevy and Richard Davalos and most recently in the 2007 film, "Hard Four" starring with Ed Asner, Paula Prentiss, Dabney Coleman, and Ed Begley Jr.
