BARBARA ANDERSON BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Barbara Anderson was born on November 27th, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York with the birth name Barbara Jeanne Anderson. As a teenager her parents relocated to Memphis, Tennessee. While living in Tennessee she competed in two beauty contests and won the title of Miss Memphis in 1963.
When she was old enough to be on her own she relocated to Los Angeles, California in search of work as an actress. She found work pretty easily. Barbara was cast in the television series Star Trek, "The Conscience of the King" (1966) and was also that same year cast in the pilot of the television series, "Mannix".
As her career progressed she became most well known for her role as police officer, Eve Whitfield on the television series, "Ironside" (1967) and also for her appearances in seven episodes of, "Mission: Impossible". For her role on, "Ironside" she won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama series. In all she appeared in 105 episodes. Other television roles included, "Marcus Welby, M.D" (1970-1974), "Hawaii Five-O" (1979) and "The Love Boat" (1978).
She left the series to marry Don Burnett whom she wed in 1971 and remains married to today. She has no children of her own. Some of her other appearances have been on, "Night Gallery" and the, "Harry O" series. Her last television movie role was in, "Return of Ironside" (1993)
