B. REEVES EASON BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:

B. Reeves Eason was born on October 2nd, 1886 in New York City, New York with the birth name William Reaves Eason.  Prior to working as an actor he ran his own produce business but then had a change of heart and decided to pursue a career as an actor.
 
He began like many in his era working as a stage actor as well as performing in vaudeville.  He began acting in 1910 and later on actually made a career move to working on the other side of the industry as a director.
 
Over the course of his career as an actor he would appear in over fifty films between 1913 and 1928, and then moved over full time to work as a highly successful director.  Some of his more well known film roles included, "Jail Birds" (1914), "In the Candlelight" (1914), "In the Twilight" (1915) and his final role was in 1928 on "The Danger Rider".
 
B. Reeves Eason married only once to Jimsy Maye and he had one son who was involved in acting, but sadly at the age of six was killed when he was hit by a truck.  Eason passed away on June 9th, 1956 in Sherman Oaks, California after suffering from a fatal heart attack and his remains are interred at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles, California.
