ANNE LOCKHART BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Anne Lockhart was born on September 6th, 1953 in New York City, New York with the birth name Anne Kathleen Maloney. She was raised in Brentwood, California and became involved in theater from a young age being brought up in a family involved in the industry. Her great-grandfather was John Coates Lockhart, and her grandparents were actors Gene Lockhart and Kathleen Lockhart. Her mother was actress, June Lockhart who is most remembered for her role on the television series, "Lassie" (1954) which also starred Tommy Rettig as 'Jeff' and George Cleveland as 'Gramps' and "Lost in Space" (1965).
Her family relocated during her childhood after New York first to California then later to Arizona where she graduated from Arizona's Verde Valley School. Her career as an actress began when she was only four years old appearing in the short film, "T is for Tumbleweed" and also appeared numerous times with her mother on the television series, "Lassie".
Lockhart was soon adding credited role to her resume such as the television series, "Death Valley Days" (1965) and "Cannon" (1972). Over the course of her career in the industry she has appeared on such television shows as, "Knight Rider", "The Fall Guy", "Murder, She Wrote", "Diagnosis: Murder", "Battlestar Galactica", "CHiPs", "Magnum, P.I." starring Tom Selleck, "Emergency!", "Simon & Simon", "Law & Order" and "LA Dragnet".
In addition to her many television roles she has also added such film credits as, "Jory" (1973), "Joyride" (1977), "Troll" (1986), "Dark Tower" (1989), an uncredited role in "Basic Instinct" (1992) starring Michael Douglas, Sharon Stone, George Dzundza, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Dorothy Malone just to name a few, "A Dog's Tale" (1999), "Daybreak" (2000), "Cahoots" (2001), "Route 666" (2001), "The Time Traveler's Wife" (2009), "Starzinger" (2011), "Starzinger II" (2011) and "Starzinger III" (2011) portraying Dr. Kitty.
Anne Lockhart married only once to Adam C. Taylor in 1986 and they had two children together and remained married until he passed away in an accident in 1994.
Most recently Anne has starred on the film, "Avenge" (2012) and has done voice over work for such films as, "Tangled", "Buried", "Bolt" and "Chicken Little" among others.
