ANDREW PRINE BIOGRAPHY & FILMOGRAPHY:
Andrew Prine was born on February 14th, 1936 in Jennings, Florida with the birth name Andrew L. Prine. In 1954 he graduated from Andrew Jackson High School, in Florida. He then enrolled at the University of Miami to study drama on a theater scholarship, however he soon dropped out to pursue a career as an actor.
He began his career as an actor appearing in a number of stage productions before moving to adding a number of Broadway credits to his resume such as, "Look Homeward Angel".
Soon in the early 60's he began appearing in a number of films, mostly westerns such as, "Kiss Her Goodbye" (1959) starring Elaine Stritch, Steven Hill and Gene Lyons, "The Miracle Worker" (1962) starring Anne Baxter and Patty Duke, "Texas Across the River" (1966) with Dean Martin, Joey Bishop, Alain Delon, Peter Graves, Richard Farnsworth, Tina Aumont and Michael Ansara, "Generation" (1969), "Chisum" (1970) starring John Wayne, Forrest Tucker, Christopher George, Ben Johnson, Glenn Corbett, Geoffrey Deuel, Bruce Cabot, Patric Knowles, John Agar, John Mitchum, Alan Baxter, Lynda Day George, Christopher Mitchum and Richard Jaeckel, "Simon, King of the Witches" (1971), "One Little Indian" (1973) starring James Garner, Vera Miles, Pat Hingle, Jay Silverheels, Morgan Woodward, John Doucette, Ken Swofford, Walter Brooke and an 11-year-old Jodie Foster, "The Centerfold Girls" (1974) also starring Tiffany Bolling, Aldo Ray, Jeremy Slate and Ray Danton, "Grizzly" (1976) with Christopher George and Richard Jaeckel, "The Evil" (1978) with Richard Crenna and Joanna Pettet and "Gettysburg" (1993) starring alongside Tom Berenger, Jeff Daniels, Martin Sheen, Kevin Conway, Richard Jordan, Sam Elliott, Stephan Lang, C. "Gods and Generals" (2003) starring Jeff Daniels, Stephen Lang, Robert Duvall, Bruce Boxleitner, W. Morgan Sheppard, Alex Hyde-White, Mira Sorvino and C. Thomas Howell, "Glass Trap" (2005) with C. Andrew Prine has been married a total of five times, but three of his wives were the same lady. He first married Sharon Farrell in March 1962 but by June 1962 they had the marriage annulled. He then wed Brenda Scott in 1965 and divorced in 1966, marrying her again in 1968 and again divorcing in 1969. He married her for a third time in 1973 and by 1978 again the marriage came to an end. He then married Heather Lowe in 1986 and they remain together today.
